I finally got around to watching The Great Gatsby. I'll be honest I couldn't get past the gorgeous costumes and jewelry.
Here is my simple art deco inspired mani.
This is what I used for the base and to stamp with. Good as Gold is a pain to apply, it was very streaky and any imperfection will show but it does have a dry fast time.
Good as Gold and Cinna-snap |
I used the Cheeky plate C to apply the designs.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget about the great giveaway over at the mercurial magpie!
Totally gorgeous! I still need to get around to watching that movie. I need to pick up Cinna-snap, looks like it stamped really well! And thanks for sharing the giveaway! <3 :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the link didn't work without the http://, odd. Here it is if anyone's taking a look! http://www.themercurialmagpie.com/2013/10/messy-mansion-giveaway-ilnp.html
DeleteThanks, those Insta-dry polishes have been stamping great. I fixed the link as well, thank you for letting me know about my goof. I wish I could take my daughter to District 12, she's a die hard Hunger Games fan!
DeleteIt was really neat to go! For this second movie though they filmed in Georgia, not sure where exactly!
DeleteI love the combination of red and gold you used, and your stamping looks perfect! It does remind me of the Great Gatsby :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, it wasn't until I was done that I thought I should have used black. Oh well, maybe next time:)
