Blue Valentine Nails

Can I just say bbrrrr it is cold outside.
I was so happy with Dior Porcelaine I couldn't take it off.
Using Kleancolor in white and DRK-A plate,  I added the designs.

Finally I added some Valentine decals that I purchased from RLR Creations.

This was last years mani using the same decal.

Finally,
Don't forget to head on over to The Mercurial Magpie where you can enter to win some fabulous prizes.

Hello Kitty as Thor

I can't wait to see Thor:  The Dark World tomorrow and  I had to get my nails ready for it.  Here is what I did.

This is what I used for the base:
FP Paper Mache, Ibiza, Cheers to You

I added the Hello Kitty as Thor from the Avengers decal that I purchased from RLR Creations.
Next I tried adding some lightning using plate 305 from Bundle Monster.
The lightning turned out a little wonky, wah wah.

All right bring on the popcorn!  Oh yeah and the movie.

Grumpy Hello Kitty

I've been a little grumpy lately and I wanted my nails to match my mood.  Here is what did.

This is what I used for the base of the nails and the water nail decals from RLR Creations.
CG White on White & Orly Black Vinyl

Originally I wanted to use the bows, but they didn't show up against the black.
Plan B:   brake out the dotting tool and add random dots.  For the dots I used Konad White and Orly Forever Crimson.

Color Club Hologram in Cloud Nine

The rain finally stopped so I went with Color Club hologram in Cloud Nine.

I did use the Nfu Oh Aqua Base.  You can see the residue around the cuticle area.  That's the one negative about using the water base.  But it does make difficult polish apply easier.

Look at the pretty rainbow on my nails.

I went ahead and applied the Hello Kitty as KISS water decals that I picked up from RLR Creations.  Since I went with a colored background, I did have to fill in the white in the decals.

TTFN!
