Sally's Clearance Haul and Other Stuff

I went to Sally's Beauty to buy a bottle of acetone and look what jumped into my basket.

 The are having a sale on clearance items, 50% off red tags.  I picked up a few from the Gwen Stefani Collection.  They came out to $2.25 a bottle.  I also got their last bottle from the Muppets Collection.

 This is my first OCC polish and so far I'm really happy with it, it applied like butter.  While in Orlando I  went to the  CCO and found Pink Paisley which is from the Estee Lauder Madmen Collection.  I love the the retro look and packaging.

Vacation Haul - bloomingdales

I'm back from vacation and finally got caught up with the laundry.  I haven't had time to do my nails other than a quick swatch so I'm going to show you some of the beauty's I picked up while in Orlando.

Christmas Gifts!

I hope you all had a great Christmas!  

I was fortunate, that my husband was able to take me to Dallas to spend the holidays with most of my family.  

Here are my girls after they've worn out my sisters "babies".

Nothing like getting back from vacation and getting the blah's!  I told my husband, you know I'm not feeling well when I don't want to play with all the goodies I got for Christmas.  Oh well, I'm finally getting around to taking photo's of them to share with you all.

Ulta Haul

I was on my way to Target to pick up diapers, when my feet headed into Ulta instead.  I didn't think it would be a problem since my Ulta never has anything but what did I spot, the new Zoya Winter 2013 Collection- The Zenith Holiday.  

I bought most of them with the exception of Mosheen(bar glitter), and Cassedy(silver metallic)

They were all pretty sheer, it took 3 coats.

Zoya Nail Mail

Tiny haul from the Zoya Halloween Promotion.  

I was surprised to see this in my mailbox yesterday.

Tomoko is a pixie dust polish which means that it is textured polish.  This is pretty sheer I used 4 coats.

I've been wanting Dahlia  since it first came out.  This is a black base with silver sparkle.  This is also a pixie dust.  I had to use 4 coats with this as well to get it opaque.

 The last of my little haul is Claudine.  Zoya describes this as a meteorite grey.  This has a metallic finish.

Here is a quick swatch of Tomoko and Godiva(on my thumb) to compare the two.  Godiva is a lovely light beige while Tomoko is a silvery/gold.  Tomoko is the perfect polish for the holidays.

Nail Mail and small haul 7/21

Nothing like getting some nail mail.  Sylvia from Mundo de Unas was making a trip to the states, so I went ahead and ordered some more stamping polish from her.  

I went ahead and ordered the cream, pink, orange, and swatched the teal that I received awhile back.   I paid $3 a piece for them.  They all work great, here they are stamped over Orly's Liquid Vinyl.  

They're thick but not gooey, a little goes a long way.  They do have a strong scent to them, that's the only negative.

Now for the haul part, I bought clearance polish from Ulta, Rite Aid, and Big Lots.

At Ulta I found Frida for $2.99, at Rite Aid, I got L'oreal Macaroon Me Madly also for $2.99, and at Big Lots,  I got Sinful colors in Nova, Revlon Calla Lily for $1 each,  nail strips for $1.50 and an elf brush for clean up for .95.
