Deborah Lippmann - Flowers in Her Hair

I've been in a bit of a nail funk lately.  But I've finally found some inspiration with Deborah Lippmann's Flowers in Her Hair.

This is such a pretty light pastel green, perfect for spring.  This is two coats with a QDTC.

I added some dry flowers that I had purchased on Aliexpress.  For those who don't feel comfortable ordering from Aliexpress, Ciaté has a nail kit for $25 that comes with polish, flowers and a few other things.
I had to be really careful with them because they are very fragile.

Dance Legend - Chameleon No. 097 The Knight

Today I have on The Knight, my first polish from Dance Legend.

I picked this up from Llarowe, it retails for $8.
The polish is a multi chrome polish that shifts from gold, bronze to black.  I had a bit of a streaky mess at first.  It did even out a bit with the second coat but you can still see a few of the brush strokes.
I went ahead and broke out a new plate I just ordered from Vivid Lacquer.  This is plate VL 019 and the stamping polish is Royal Blue from Konad.

This is such a pretty bronze color in the shade.

Dollish Pollish - Frozen

The girls and I watched Frozen last night and it got me in a blue mood.  So I went ahead and broke out with Dollish Pollish Frozen.

I picked this up from Llarowe for $12.  This is a light blue base with micro glitters.  The formula was a bit on the thick side, nothing a little thinner can't fix.  It's also very sheer so a few coats will be necessary.

This is three coats with a quick dry top coat.
I went ahead and added some snow flakes  between the second and the third coat as an accent nail.

Playing Around with OPI Push and Shove

I was lucky enough to have picked up Push and Shove from the Gwen Stefani Collection, on clearance for $2.25.

Here it is swatched(2nd from the left).  It's a great look, if you can get it to work.  I couldn't so I'm glad I didn't pay retail($9).  Plus it's suppose to only last a day.  So with that being said here is my nail fail.
This is two thin coats over the base coat that is provided, Lay Down That Base.
This just brought out and highlighted all the ridges and dents on my nails.
I went ahead and added some skulls and scratches using Sugar Bubbles plates 001 and 013.

AIS Sunday Challenge - St. Patrick's Day

Today's challenge over in Adventures In Stamping is to do St. Patrick's Day nails.
I started off with a base of CG I'm Not Lion, with an accent nail done in A England Saint George.
I actually like how this looks  better than after I stamped it.
I added clovers using AE Saint George and from Bunny Nails, plate HD-B.
I went ahead and added some gold glitter to Saint George.  Hmm, not my favorite but it works I guess.

Sally's Clearance Haul and Other Stuff

I went to Sally's Beauty to buy a bottle of acetone and look what jumped into my basket.
The are having a sale on clearance items, 50% off red tags.  I picked up a few from the Gwen Stefani Collection.  They came out to $2.25 a bottle.  I also got their last bottle from the Muppets Collection.

I Sing In Color, Push And Shove, In True Stefani Fashion, ITSF layerd over I Sing In Color, and Miss Piggy's Big Number
 From Sephora and CCO
This is my first OCC polish and so far I'm really happy with it, it applied like butter.  While in Orlando I  went to the  CCO and found Pink Paisley which is from the Estee Lauder Madmen Collection.  I love the the retro look and packaging.
Seething and Pink Paisley
These are swatches from my bloomingdales haul.
Dior Perlé layered over black undies, Dior Gris Montaigne, deborah lippmann Flowers In Her Hair, Chanel Charivari, and Tom Ford Trophy Wife
Some nail mail from Vivid Lacquer, Fab ur Nails, and Messy Mansion
From Messy Mansion I ordered Lily Anna plate and two Emily de Molly plates .

I couldn't help myself I had to use one of the plates.

From VividLacquer plates VL 019 and VL 020

From Fab ur Nails, two detail brushes to fill in decals.
And as I was typing everything I hear someone at the door.  It was the UPS guy with my new Clarisonic and the bliss face and body wash!

Hmm, I think I might need to go on a no buy.  Maybe in May??

YSL - Vert D'Orient stamped

Earlier this week I received some nail mail from Messy Mansion.  Nothing big,  just a couple of Emily de Molly plates and a Lily Anna plate.  Since I still had on the YSL from my vacation haul I went ahead and used that as the base.
The wear on this is great.  I've had this on since Sunday and I still haven't seen any noticeable tip wear or chips.  This is two coats with a a top coat.
I added the designs using Maybelline's Bold Gold and Emily de Molly plate EDM05.
I really like all the different flowers on this plate, as well as the size of the designs.
I purchased this from Messy Mansion, it retails for $6.50.
