Red Coat Tuesday- PLL

Color Me So Crazy is hosting a Pretty Little Liars, Red Coat Tuesday.

For today I went with a simple mani of a gorgeous red with an accent nail of black flowers.

I started off with a base coat from the OPI Gwen Stefani Collection,  Over & Over A-Gwen.  This is a set that includes different style studs and glue.
This is a bold red creme polish.  The application was so great, the clean up not so much.
This is two coats with no top coat, but it's still very shiny.

Next I added some black flowers using the DRK-B plate and Kleancolor in black.
This is two coats with top coat.

Take a look at the other mani's!

Adventures in Stamping Sunday Challenge

Today's challenge was Glitz and Glam, here is what I did.

After applying a base coat I started with China Glazes Champagne Kisses.  This is from the 2012 Holiday Joy collection.

This is a pretty tan with rose and gold glitter polish.  The formula was a bit gloppy and needed to be thinned.  After I added some thinner and gave it a good shake it went on much better.

This is two coats with a coat of Gelous and a coat of a QDTC.

I added the designs using the DRK-B plate and KC in black.
It's a very simple design but the glitter base helps the design to pop.

The removal will be a pain, but that's when I'll break out the foil paper.

Thanks for stopping by!

Color Club Wing Fling Stamped

Wing Fling is part of the Color Club Take Wing Collection Summer 2012.  I found this way in the back of a drawer, so I thought I use this today before I lose it again.

This is a very bright color.  It's a magenta jelly base with pink and purple shimmer.
It's a sheer color, so I used two coats with top coat.

The formula on this was nice and smooth, it dried fairly quickly as well.
This is what I used to stamp the designs, the DRK-B plate which I bought at Ninja Polish, and Kleancolor in Black to stamp with.

I went ahead and used a Matte top coat.

I actually like this better with a matte finish, it's still nice and bright.
